British Journal of Human Resource and Leadership (BJHRL) is published by Academy of Social Scientific And Applied Research (ASSAAR) Journals. ASSAAR is a unique global forum that brings together people from across the world to discuss the key issues relating to the essential information resource for today’s human resource managers and distil the most topical human resource management issues and relevant implications for HR personnel out of the cutting-edge research.

Also, the Leadership and  Organization Development examines the body of management theory around leadership and organizations in order to discover new, more effective ways of managing in organizations. The Journal explores the practical of leadership and organization development theory in order to identify its relevance for managerial practice.

Public and private sector organizations alike face ongoing pressure to streamline activities, improve efficiency and achieve demanding organizational objectives. In this context, the ability of senior managers to understand the culture and dynamics of organizations and to deliver strong leadership during periods of change could be the difference between organizational failure and success.

The objective of ASSAAR is to promote the exchange of knowledge, experience, information and ideas among academicians, scholars, professionals, policy & decision makers, industry, executives and students to improve the mutual understanding of the aspects of business, role of entrepreneurship and management in achieving sustainable development all over the world.

Aims

ASSAAR aims as a forum for academics, practitioners and policymakers from around the world to exchange concepts, research, and best practices about human resource management and leadership. The journal aims to integrate the study of these disciplines to achieve best practices and skills which helps to stimulate debate amongst scholars, researchers, practitioners and policymakers across the world with a view to defining common, effective responses to tomorrow’s challenges. Human resource management literature is enjoying a boom period. It isn’t feasible for interested parties to read every journal and article specializing in important aspects of the subject.

We regularly present case studies of the implementation of human resource strategies in organizations of varying sizes, ranging from SMEs to multinational corporations.All articles are presented in an easy-to-digest format for human resource managers and researchers to gain a quick insight into the main issues affecting organizations today.

ASSAAR encourages Guest Editors to submit proposals for Special Issues addressing specific issue(s) of the broad theme of the journal or resulting from relevant conferences. ASSAAR will also consider themed special issues with a focus on a particular country or a region.

  • It is international in scope and intended for broad international audiences. It solicits articles, teaching materials, reviews, comments, and responses from scholars, educators, practicing leaders, consultants, students, and others around the world. It values a new shared, transnational, dispersed conception of leadership wherein all people in all nations can understand and exercise leadership.
  • It strongly encourages and supports mavericks who have the courage to challenge taken-for-granted and embedded ways of understanding, researching, teaching, developing, and practicing leadership, and who have the perspicacity and the imagination to envision fresh concepts, theories, practices, and pedagogical strategies.
  • It is one of only a few online leadership journals offered at no charge to readers. Its accessibility is consistent with the global movement to make leadership knowledge and/or practice available to increasingly wide populations at all levels and in all sectors of society around the world.

Editorial Criteria

  • The journal supports interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary approaches to the study of leadership and human resource management and encourages original thinking which will contribute to knowledge and understanding in these areas.
  • Articles based on empirical work are strongly encouraged, as are conceptual papers which are founded on a strong literature base and which provide a basis for theoretical development to advance the field.
  • There is no methodological preference: papers on the continuum from quantitative data-based studies to qualitative case studies are equally welcome.
  • The journal’s focus is on the interpretation of research and how the results of research may be translated into practice.
